"Photography takes an instant out of time, altering life by holding it still." -Dorothea Lange
I am a lover of sports, both professional and amateur, and I understand what it means to be an athlete - what it means to pour your heart and soul into every game, what it means to accept defeat even when it doesn't seem fair, and what it means to win the hardest game you've ever played. And all of those feelings, in addition to peak action, are what I aim to capture.
My playbook includes the 2018 World Series, 2016 Rio Olympics, Indianapolis 500, as well as numerous Little League games, Kiwanis meetings, and protests. Additionally, I have experience covering the repercussions of a police-involved shooting.
My work has been published by MLB, The Associated Press, BBC, Washington Post, and Ohio University, among others.
Besides creating, I enjoy playing with puppies, driving my Jeep, swimming, and listening to the oldies.
I am a graduate of Ohio University's School of Visual Communication with focus areas in photojournalism, sports administration, and history.
I specialize in still photography, videography, and social media. I am available for hire anywhere you'd like to send me.
