Off-Camera Flash

For my photojournalism class, we had to do a portrait using off-camera flash. I had never used flash before so this was completely new to me. For my environmental portrait, I shot a swimmer in the Ohio University Aquatic Center. After turning in the photo, I definitely learned some new tips on using flash and I learned some things I could improve on. I forgot to set the white balance, so the camera was a little confused, creating a pink/green photo that couldn't easily be fixed in post-processing. I'm still new to flash so mistakes are all a part of the learning process, and I can't wait to try it again.
