Deadline Assignment

In my photojournalism class today, we were tasked with a stressful assignment. When we arrived in class, my professor gave us a theme, and in the pouring rain and in an hour's worth of time, we had to go out, make a photo, come back and edit & tone our photos, and then drop them on the server. I got my photo on the server with only two minutes to spare! Despite the weather and the anxiety, this assignment was actually fun and showed us what it is like to shoot on a deadline in the real world. One of the many things I appreciate about VisCom at Ohio University is the fact that they prepare us for what we are really going to have to do out in the field!
