Sense of Place

The next assignment due in my photojournalism class is called "Sense of Place." The goal is to produce a photo that makes the viewer feel as if they are experiencing the scene. I am turning in the greenhouse photo, however, I have also included another photo that I took in that library.

Bethany Zumwalde, an Ohio University graduate student studying plant biology, and Jacob Mullins, a senior studying plant biology, move plants to various parts of the greenhouse located behind Scott Quadrangle in Athens, Ohio, on April 6, 2015. The students work in the greenhouse to supplement their educational experience in their field of study. "Being in the greenhouse is an overwhelming sensory experience because you get the opportunity to see and smell hundreds of different plants from all over the world," says Zumwalde.
