Runway Fest

This evening I took the opportunity to go to Runway Fest, a festival celebrating flight hosted by the Dayton-Wright Brothers Airport. Originally going to get event photos, I wandered around the festival for a while until I discovered that Cessna plane rides were being offered. I'm afraid of flying - small planes in particular terrify me. However, I couldn't pass up what I thought would be a great photographic opportunity. Here's a photo from my plane ride with pilot Reda Elidrissi:

Elidrissi has been flying for seven years and currently works as a flight instructor at the Wright Brothers Airport. "Don't ever work," Elidrissi says. "Because if you're doing what you truly love, then it is never work." (©Sarah Stier 2015)
