Sports Images from the Past Couple of Weeks

As finals week gets closer and closer, my stress level has been going up and up! I've been super busy, working on a short documentary for my video class, while balancing commitments with my job for athletics and my sorority, and taking five classes.

Baseball/softball season is in full swing, and every time a new sports season begins, I find myself using the first game as a refresher on how to shoot that sport. Though baseball is one of my favorite sports to watch, it is one of my most troubling sports to shoot. The action is few and far between, so you always have to be on your toes, otherwise you might miss the most exciting moment of the game! It's also a challenge to move quickly to where the ball is going. For some reason, it is easier for me to follow a game of basketball than it is to follow a baseball. I'm still getting used to shooting the sport, so I've been shooting a lot of softball games to get practice.

Softball is a little easier to shoot because the game moves a little slower. From shooting softball games, I've learned a little bit more about how to anticipate where the shot is going to be and what the best spots to shoot from are.

Here's some photos from softball and track from the past couple of weeks:
